Top Dressing

Top dressing a natural turf surface can be carried out for several reasons. The first reason would be to restore surface levels due to wear and tear throughout the season.

Top dressing of sand followed with aeration can aid with existing drainage by allowing water to make its way through the soil profile.

Our range of specialist equipment for both large and small spaces allows us to complete the job with no hassle. Ore machines are capable of spreading:

• Sand

• Rootzone (Sand/Soil Mix)

• Gypsum

• Granular Fertilisers

• Cricket Loam

• Much More

Rootzone is a mixture of sand and soil and is used to reinstate pitch levels. This includes divots and areas of high use (goalmouths & touchlines). Rootzone will also improve drainage, especially when combined with vertical tine aeration.
